About Me
I’m Stephen Mace from the county of Norfolk in the UK, where I’m lucky to have been born and raised. The rural beauty of the county and its wildlife have had a massive influence on my life.
I work for a wildlife conservation project whose main aim is to help halt the decline of the water vole population, which has been severely affected by the introduction of the non-native American mink. Through my work, I get to visit many wonderful locations, and I’m also fortunate to live in a part of Norfolk that’s rich in diverse wildlife. With my upbringing and a natural interest in wildlife and their behaviour, photography quickly became second nature to me. That said, I’m always learning new skills to improve my work. I’ve always believed that life should be about doing something you love — and for me, that’s wildlife photography. It’s something I hope to pursue more deeply, and I’d love for you to join me on that journey through my website.
Wildlife photography is my main focus, but I also enjoy experimenting with other styles, so you may see those pop up from time to time as well.
